Agenda calendar added
I just added an ajenda calendar to my blog. You can now click on a certain date to see what is happening with Stampin' Up. I will be working on getting some more classes going after the new year so check back for that!!
EDITED** Unfortunately, you will not be able to see my calendar unless you are logged in. I am currently looking for another calendar to replace this one that you can view as well.

Stampin' Up retired list
The retired list is coming out on December 9th. I will email that out to everyone as soon as I have it. If you are not familiar with this, SU retires certain stamps that are never to be seen again in the catalogs. This is done with each new catalog that they bring out. The new catalog is due out in January. I will have copies of those if anyone is interested in buying them (if you are a member of my stamp clubs the catalog is free). The new catalogs are $9.95. I also have old catalogs for sale (the current catalog is $5.00 and the last catalog is $3.00. These make great idea books). If you are interested in a catalog please let me know.
November club orders
Are due in to me by December 8th. Special orders (Sherry) are due into me (if I remember correctly) on the 5th. I'll email you all when they arrive.
SU Christmas presents
If you are wanting to give Stampin' Up stuff for Christmas (or someone you know wants to give some to you), Stampin' Up recommends that you order by December 16th. This is the date that they are guaranteeing shipping by Christmas to their customers. So, if you are wanting to place an order, just shoot me an email (my email is over on the right hand side --->) and I'd be happy to place an order for you. I know I'm wanting some goodies for Christmas. But what can I say, I'm addicted to the stuff!! Happy Shopping. (Just click on the Stampin' Up catalog icon over on the right to take you to the catalog).

Manly birthday card
Here's a card I made for my Godson's birthday. I needed a more manly card than my usually pinks and stuff. I used SU's happy birthday wheel, SU kraft paper, Basic Gray patterned paper and the "birthday" stamp is from SU as well. I just can't remember the name of the set right now. I'll add that in later. Enjoy!

Upcoming events with me:
Hi everyone. Here are a few Stampin' Up updates for you.
HOLIDAY WISH LISTS:
Don't forget yourself for the holidays. I will be placing numerous orders during the holidays so you will be guaranteed to receive your goodies by Christmas. Just email me or call me and let me know what you would like ordered. (Or if you don't want to know what you are getting for Christmas you can have your significant other email or call me as well). Stamps make great gifts too!! Kids and teacher's love them as much as we do.
HOLIDAY STAMP A STACK:
November 30th from 1pm-3pm. This is to help us get started in our Christmas card making. You will be making 2 cards (5 of each card). The cards will be easy to reproduce, using minimal supplies so you can get them done quickly. Please sign up by either email or give me a call. Space is limited for this one so sign up quick!! The cost for this is $30.00. Light refreshments and Christmas music will be provided.
RIBBON CLUB:
I am going to start a ribbon club in December (this is not a club that you need to attend, we would just be placing an order monthly to get our ribbons). I wanted to email everyone and see who all might be interested in getting some of Stampin' Up's beautiful ribbons. You wouldn't be buying the entire roll (some have 10 yards and you might not need that much of each color). This club will enable you to get each color of ribbon in the different families (1/4" grosgrain, 5/8" grosgrain, 5/8" striped grosgrain, 1" double stitched grosgrain and taffeta). Depending on the number of people who are interested in doing this will depend on how much we would have to spend and how much ribbon we would get. If there is enough interest, I would break it into 2 ribbon clubs (I'm thinking 5 per club at the most). We would do this monthly for each group, so it would run for 5 months. Please email me with your interest in this club by then end of November.
MARKER CLUB:
This works a lot like the ribbon club. This club is for those of you who are interested in obtaining all of Stampin' Up's markers but don't want to pay the $125.00 up front. It's kind of like a lay-a-way plan. By the end of 4 months, you will have received all of Stampin' Up's markers and the case that they come in. If you are interested in this club just email me or give me a call (I can explain it further if you are not sure how it will work). This will be starting in December as well. I need at least 4 per club for this one.
HOSTESS APPRECIATION:
I had also told some of you that I am starting a hostess appreciation for those of you who will host a workshop with me. For each workshop that you host, I will give you coupons that will be good for the entire year following your workshop. Some examples of the coupons include: December: 10% off any stamp set in the Holiday Mini Catalog w/ any purchase, February: Free ink pad when you earn a Sale-A-Bration set and Birthday Coupon: You may pick out ANYTHING $5 or less to receive FREE!! (one time use only). These are just a few examples of the great savings you can earn when you host a workshop with me. I promise that you will have a great time at your workshop too. All you need to supply would be friends and light refreshments. I'll do the rest!! Just give me a call or an email if you would like to schedule with me. Also, if you hold a $150.00 workshop with me in the month of January you can pick a stamp set in the catalog for free!! ($15 and under).

Spring Summer mini catalog
I'm so excited to see what Stampin' Up has in their new catalog coming out in January. I just placed an order for the Spring/Summer mini's which will hopefully ship at the end of November (that I'm not 100% sure of though).
There are also some really great promotions going on right now. Check them out over on the right of the blog!! There's another one coming up in December as well. I've just added that to the sidebar.
Don't forget the holiday's are coming up so if you guys need anything or are interested in some stamping goodies for Christams, just let your significant others know and they can contact me directly. You will never know it happened!! I'll be placing orders all throughout the month so that the merchandise will be received on time for Christmas!!
I also have a new Hostess Appreciation coupon page that is going to be happening. More details to follow on this one. This is for those of you who host a workshop with me (outside of clubs). There are some pretty great deals with the coupons too!! Be on the lookout for this. This will be starting in December!!

Fruity Chesse Ball recipe
Some of you had asked me for the recipe for the fruity cheese ball that I made for Saturday's workshop. It is so easy and so yummy. Here's the recipe:
2 packages of cream cheese (sofetened)
1 can of fruit coctail (large can) drained
1/4 Cup of orange juice
1 small packet of french vanilla pudding
Mix all ingredients together well and refrigerate. Shape into a ball and serve with wheat thins (I got the cinnamon flavored ones).

Mommy and Me
I had SO MUCH FUN at my Mommy and Me workshop on Saturday. I hope that you all had as good of a time as I did. I know it was really hectic so if you had any questions that didn't get answered or wanted to know about the catalog please don't hesitate to call me or shoot me an email. I will be happy to help you out. I am placing the orders that I got from club hopefully in the next few days (I'm waiting to see if I get any more orders before placing it). I will let you know when I've placed the orders and I will also update you (probably on the blog and email) when they are due into me. Thank you all again for attending. I hope to do another Mommy and Me in the near future.

Upcoming Mommy and Me workshop...
I believe I'm going to be holding this workshop at my mom's house due to the overwhelming response of people who want to come to this one. I am so happy at how many are interested in this. I will send out a confirming email with directions when it gets closer to the time of the workshop (November 1st).
Su Color Combo
If you look over to the right, I have added a new color combo button. This is a site that you can put in a color (or series of colors) and it will generate a bunch of Stampin' Up color combos that work well together. This is a great site to bookmark (or just remember it's on here. I will keep this one on the blog for as long as the site is available). Let me know how you like it.

Mommy and Me Stamp Camp Projects
Here are the projects that we did at stamp camp and the how to's for those of you who might be intersted in making some of the projects:
Giant Paperclip Bookmark
Supplies: Giant Paperclip (from Staples or Office Depot)
Cardstock (Only Orange, Whisper White and Basic Black)
Batty For You Stamp Set
Punches (1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch)
Basic Black ink
Large Glue Dots
Adhesive
Stamp your chosen stamp from 'Batty For You' onto your Whisper White Cardstock and punch out with your 1 1/4" punch. Then punch out an orange circle from your Only Orange cardstock with your 1 3/8" punch. Finally punch out 2 black scallop circles. Build your "flower" starting with your scallop circle on the bottom, then your orange circle and on top is your stamped image. Adhere them together. Put a glue dot on the paperclip and adhere your scallop circles.
Bag-a-lope
Supplies: Envelope
Paper Trimmer and scorer
Stampin' Around Handle
Stampin' Around Wheel Cartridge
Wheel (note the size of the wheel)
Stampin' Around Wheel Guide
Adhesive
Cut off the top of your envelope (about 1/8th of an inch). Score the remaining three sides at 1". (remember do not push too hard or you will tear the envelope) Turn the envelope over and do this again. Apply a strong adhesive to the flap of the envelope to ensure that it doesn't open. Now you need to stamp on your evelope with your wheel. Do this on both sides. Once the ink has dried you need to fold over on your score lines. Fold your score lines both ways. Next put your hand inside the envelope pushing it so it opens up. Push on the bottom of your bag-a-lope with your other hand until you see your "cat ears" appearing. Once you have your cat ears you need to apply adhesive to them and stick them down. Push the sides of your bag in and you are done. You are now ready to put a band on it (or you can make a topper for it like we did for our M & M bags).

If you are interested in finding out about this club please email me or give me a call. We always welcome new members to our club or if you have enough people who would be interested we could start a whole new club of our own.

It would still be fun for you and your younger child can still help. We will be making 3 projects. Light refreshments will be served.

Card swap??
January-June 2009: During these months I will be starting a new Technique club. I am planning on doing this the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
This club requires that you spend at least $30.00 in Stampin' Up merchandise a month for the 6 month club. You will make 2 techniques per month along with instructions. At the end of the club you will have a 6x6 mini book chock full of techniques that you can use in your card making. This is a very cool club to join. I love my technique book. Instead of going home and after a few months wondering how you did that technique, with this you can just refer to your book. If you want to sign up for this club please let me know by December 1st.

Halloween "treat" box
Here are the instructions for the Halloween Treat box that we made at club on 9/16. This box will hold 1 small Hershey bar/kit kat bar. It is very easy to make.
Step 1: Cut your desired color cardstock to 7 1/4 x 3 1/2.
Step 2: Score at 3 1/2, 4, 6 1/4 and 6 3/4. Fold with your bone folder.
Step 3: Stamp your 'batty for you' wheel on the front of your box.
Step 4: Punch your hole in the top of your box to stick your candy in (make sure it's not on the tab that you need to fold over and connect to the back) using your word window punch.
Step 5: Make your decorative front with your flower punch, your circle punches and your 'batty for you' stamps. (I used the 1 3/8 punch and the 1 1/4 circle punch).
Step 6: Adhere your box together and slip in your candy. Easy as that.
If you have any questions just let me know.
