LOL, well as I (think) I said in a previous post I have been busy working on moving into my mom's house as well as dealing with a TON of construction also keeping 3 busy kids occupied and taking care of my sick mother. I know I've been very neglective of my blog and I'm sorry. I do have some new projects to share but need to edit them first and then I will be able to post them. Our club group did a fun project the other night (which I got from Angie Juda, another demonstrator) and I will post the instructions as well as pictures of that project. In the meantime, enjoy Part 1 of my 'NEW' scrapbook room tour. I just LOVE my new room. It's so bright, cheery and inviting. Hopefully that will make me be more productive. :)

Small update
Just wanted to let you all know that I didn't drop off of the face of the earth. I've been so busy lately. We are trying to move in with my mother who is sick and we have a lot of construction going on. I have not had any time in my stamping room to create. I'm also in the process of getting a NEW scrapbook/stamp room which I will post as soon as it is done. I'm getting cabinets and a drafting table in a room of my own!! That will be a process for me b/c I want to make sure that I organize everything how it will work and flow for me. I can't wait. The room is supposed to be done this weekend!!! Then Jeff and I can paint and start putting in cabinets and start moving in maybe next week!!! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about this. So, that's what I've been up to lately. I will begin to post again soon as well as do more videos when I get all settled in. Times are just crazy now. Thanks for sticking with me.

Computer issues
I'm so sorry I haven't updated recently, I have been having some serious computer issues (like it takes me an hour to get onto this site and upload) and need to take it in. We're also having work done to my mom's house and that has been consuming me lately as well. Hopefully all will be back to normal in a month or two. Thanks for sticking with me and having patience.

Blog Tour #2, Stop #15
How exciting! The Occasions Mini Catalog blog tour is finally here. I'm stop #15 on the tour but I'm certainly not the last stop. Be sure to check out all of the other blogs along the tour for some wonderful inspiration along the way!! I promise you won't be disappointed.
For my blog tour I featured the Choo Choo stamp set which is soooo cute. I just love it.
Products used for this project:
Choo Choo stamp set
Lovely as a Tree Stamp set
Right on Track wheel
Family Phrases stamp set
Oval scallop punch
Oval punch
Bashful blue ink
Old olive ink
Chocolate chip ink
Pacific point ink
Tangerine tango ink
Riding Hood red ink
Whisper White cardstock
I used a stampin' up dauber to apply the bashful blue ink as well as the old olive ink. To make the clouds I used the scallop oval punch and applied a little dotto to the back to make it stick then daubed over the background leaving a "cloud." I then daubed a little over the cloud so it wasn't so perfect. I then stamped my choo choo train stamp and cut out with my SU scissors and applied with dimensionals. I really love this set, it is so versatile. You can not only use it for birthday cards but for scrapbookk pages as well. (I must mention that this card was inspired by a stamper on Split Coast Stampers).
There is a promotion going on right now but hurry, the offer ends on the 30th of this month. For every $40.00 you spend on product from the Occasions Mini catalog you will receive an under $10.00 stamp set for FREE!! These sets are on page 208 of the catalog and include:

Blog tour and other goodies
Here's another reminder about the blog tour that is happening tomorrow, April 27, 2009. It is for ONE DAY ONLY and will go from 8 am EST until midnight that same night. You will have the chance to tour 20 different blogs and see many beautiful ideas from the occasions mini catalog. Don't forget also that Stampin' Up is holding a promotion until the end of this month including the occasions mini catalog. For every $40.00 in product you buy from the mini catalog you can choose a free under $10 stamp set on page 208 of your catalog. What a great promotion. There's so many cute things in the mini catalog that it won't be hard to choose. Remember this promotion only lasts until the 30th of this month so hurry and get your orders in. You can email me for more information or if you would like to place an order. Even if you are out of state and would like to place an order that is not a problem, just let me know.
Here are a few project shares that I've done. The card is a lift from someone on SCS but can't remember who and the post it note holder was an idea from Dawn Griffith (another SU demo who has fab ideas and is a huge inspiration to me). These are the projects that we made at club the other night. Enjoy!
I used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set for this card along with the colors: chocoate chip, baja breeze and tangerine tango. Love this color combination.
This is using the Sale A Bration stamp set as well as the SAB designer series paper.
